Using the Meetings Module to manage all internal and online meetings at your school is a great way to keep records of these meetings centrally. At SchoolWorkSpace we realise the importance of these meetings,
therefore our vision is simple - to design a solution that meets this need and not just to provide a Parents’/Carers’ Evening Solution. This module goes that one step further and provides schools with the tools to manage pastoral meetings, subject meetings, careers meetings and much more.
Parents’/Carers’ Evening – Creating a session is very quick and simple, either face-to-face or virtual. There are three types of meetings that can be created –
Based on Group Membership;
Based on Academic Timetable
Parent can book with any staff member.
Once set-up invites can be sent to parents’/carers’ for them to complete.
Additional settings available – Allow Bookings Notes; Different Lengths of Slots for Different Teachers;
Dynamic Video Page – A great feature of the meetings module is the video page is dynamic therefore the schedule will automatically update and show the current calls. As the system is linked to the schools MIS its possible for staff to view student details such as student photo and key data held within the school MIS system.
As this page is dynamic, if a booking is re-scheduled this will automatically appear, no need to refresh the page.
To further enhance this the member of staff will receive a notification to inform them of this additional booking.
Monitoring virtual meetings – A great function within the meetings module is to monitor the calls in real-time.
As the session is progressing it’s possible for staff to view if parents’/carers’ have successfully joined a call. If parents/carers fail to join a call, staff are able to view students details within the system to contact home to solve the issue. It’s then possible to re-schedule these bookings with their teacher (if space are available).
SchoolWorkSpace syncs data from the school MIS (all leading UK MIS are supported including SIMS.net, Arbor and Bromcom). We are fully compliant with the current Data Protection Policies in the UK. The Privacy Policy can be found here and the Data Sharing Policy can be found here.
